New additions and new places

Aftermath of a haircut. It won't surprise me if
this little one is hairy when he gets older. I have
to give him a cut about every month.
Locke got a longboard for his birthday.
We all love it! In fact we got another just
so we can all go out on a ride.
Armanie is so good on her bike now she makes us work it
to keep up.
Since this picture we've gone a few less flat roads and love the feeling
of the 'shakes' and carving.
Armanie got to take her lil' bro to school with her.
He loved it and she loved showing him all the things she
does at school
Twice a year there are discounted tickets to the
theater! Armanie and I love it. This time it was
Tremendously Tall Tales. It was a lot of fun.
Ella and Armanie had such good theater etiquette.
A few weeks ago my sister asked if she could
take Armanie with her on her family's spring break
vacation to California. I did a good job filling her days with
playdates and fun things prior to her departure but the morning
before she left she carried her packed suitcase everywhere!!
To the bathroom, to the kitchen table. Paying particular attention to
curious brothers and friends. Informing them they could not look inside.
My dear daughter. So big! Ready to go on her first trip when she packed her
own bags without help.
Here's to a week of all boy things. What I've learned so far.
Rocco is very imaginative and plays out scenarios outside of seeing
'nakes' (snakes) and elk. In fact he's so adamant about seeing elk I've
set a video on our blog so he can get his fix. It cracks him up and makes
his eyes widen every time he sees it.
He loves animal crackers, asparagus, red, yellow, and orange bell peppers,
can chew on a baby carrot for 45 minutes and then leave a trail of chewed up
bits throughout the whole house. He loves to yell, "I'm a MAN!" but when asked
who's a man he says, "Josh" (this is his cousin). He loves to snuggle up with his
favorite books at nap time and his puppet moose. He wants nothing but a stack
of hunting magazines when he wakes from his nap, and knows all the places
where his Father hides them. (He use to rip out the pages, but has gotten a lot better
at realizing that his beloved wild life is no longer in one piece when he does this)
He gives the biggest 'anaconda squeezes' and knows how to give juicy kisses!
When asked where his Dad is he points to the front door. He waits for Locke in the evening by
the door or often grabs my car keys and says DaDa.
He's quite the friend and wants his neighbor buddies to come over daily.
He shares like a champ, except with Armanie, I think this might be a learned behavior
as she has a hard time sharing her things with him.
