I am a child of God

Since Armanie has been able to talk and sing we've started to sing a new song each week. We are currently learning the primary songs, these are children's songs that focus on principles of Christ's gospel. This week it's 'I am a child of God' This is one of my Mama's favorite songs. I thought it would be a hard one for A to learn but here she is singing it. She's even teaching the neighborhood children. :) Makes me smile that she's learning through this song the reason why families are so important; to learn of God and return to Him as a family.

I'm a child of God and He has sent me here, has given me an earthly home with parents kind and dear. Lead me, guide me, walk beside me, help me find the way. Teach me all that I must do to live with Him someday.

This evening we were at Costco and I asked her if she was a child of God... She said, NO! I'm a girl, Mom. She later said, yeah Mom I'm a child of God.
