50th post!

We've started to settle in our new 'larger' place.

Armanie is finally tiring of running the hallway and is sleeping sweetly in her own room I have everything out of boxes but not quite in their places, but it's been fun to rediscover our belongings. Now for the 'informal' tour of the place. ReADy?

Tucked in a corner of quiet Menlo Park

You see how close we are to the front DOOR!? For those who didn't visit us at the old place we had a long trek.. up stairs and a SLIDING glass door. I'm reminded of how much I love this place every time I open our front door!!

Front room

Gas stove, dishwasher, and counter space! A first for us!! Cooking has been a joy to do in this spacious kitchen. Armanie has even noticed as she is copying me when she plays. sure I give her pots and bowls but she knows just what to do. When asked she says Cooking

Our room. I still don't know how it will end up. I'm loving the full length glass mirrors! Now we can see what we completely look like before leaving the house!

Master bathroom. I do miss vanity storage! Any suggestions on where to store Locke's shaving things and my brushes and blowdryer... I guess I could do some bins under the sink...

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TELL ARMANIE TO SMILE!

An Armanie Update! *She's learned that our couch pillows have zippers and there is fun 'who know what' is inside them. She's not that pale that's the pillow filling.

*She's has sat on her potty and successfully used it! Happens to be her favorite place to be. I remember a time when that was true for me...I love how she grips the seat!

*We take a lot of rides in the wagon, as the park is 4 minutes away by foot. We happened to go to the library that day and got books about trains. We see trains very often now.

*Our little girl has become a little girl. Loves to sleep, dress, kiss, and sometimes bites her baby doll (but isn't that what I use to do too? :) I love this GIRL). She's very caring and makes sure she asks for a blanket for her little baby. Her baby's name is Armanie too.
